And You Think I'M the Bitch?

I can't tell you how many people I've become friends with and they later have said, "When I first met you, I thought you were such a BITCH!!"

Why do people say stuff like that?

And why does everyone think I'm a bitch?

I'm like the nicest person EVER.  Ok, maybe not EVER, but I'm pretty nice.

Well this weekend I got quite the doozy over the bitch comment.  First of all, I was at a party sponsored by Hubs's company.  Everyone was shit canned, over the top, ridiculously D-R-U-N-K.  Except me, of course, and Hubs because he is awesome.  So of course everyone was like, "Oh, what's wrong?" "Why are you so mad?"  "Why aren't you smiling?"  "Let me get you a DRINK!"  "You're taking a SHOT!  I don't care if you say NO."  (Notice how nobody was telling me how much they love me because I am a bitch.)

Anyway, this one guys says to me, "I'm a gonna tell you thisssssssss, but I'mmmm onlyyyyyy telling you this cuz I'm da-runk!  When I first metttttttttt you, I thoughttttt that you think you are bettttttter than me because you're upppppppper classssss and I'm nottttttt."

Um, fuckingexcuseme drunk dick?

First of all, I'm so far from upper class that it hurts a little.  And second of all, just because I'm not all "Hi!  Your outfit is cute and I love your hair!"  doesn't mean that I am a huge snobby bitch.  I'm just quiet when I first meet people.

I hope he woke up with a big fat hangover and felt like the world's biggest douche.

  1. I hope he did too! Wow.

I often get that I am "scary" or come off as a bitch as well- when all it is, really, is that I am sort of shy or anti-social. I don't talk to people unless they talk to me... that's probably why I'm an introvert surrounded by extreme extroverts LOL

    I don't know what's with people-

  2. I think we should collaborate on a song entitled "World's Biggest Douche". We can make each verse about a different person. The only requirement is that you have to drop at least ONE f-bomb in each verse, and somehow find a coherent word to rhyme with "douche".

We could put it on YouTube and link to the "Pregnant Women are Smug" video. (And since I know that you're NOT a bitch, I know that you won't take offense to that last part, regardless of your current condition!)

    Loves!

  3. Ah, I get that all the time. But another one I get which I always LOVE is "I didn't know you were smart?" What??? Yes, apparently because I am considered attractive, wear knee high boots with my jeans tucked in (every once in a while, I do change out of my sweat pants) and enjoy reading US Weekly just to make myself feel smarter, I actually exude being a dipshit. And I get the bitch thing all the time...its the confidence thing, I know it.

But what I want to know is when did being confident make us come off as bitchy?

  4. Two of my closest friends in college later told me that when they first met me they thought I was stuck up. I think it is very rude to tell someone that, but I suppose it shed light on the image I could have been putting out. In actuality, I am a very introverted person, especially around extroverts. Unfortunately, it comes off as being stuck up. Luckily, my friends got over my 'exterior' and learned who I really am. Absolutely not stuck up. But still, makes me go, "grrrrrr".
