I am beyond happy for you! And proud of you for taking care of yourself and stepping down from the program. On to better things, like baking buns in your oven.
Here from LFCA. Congrats on your beta; that is fan-friggin-tastic. Or, as they say in France, fantastique. Snicker. I hear you, by the way, on the funny foreign pronunciations. When I was a senior in high school, we went to visit my brother in Melbourne, Australia, where he was studying abroad during the spring of his junior year in college. The whole time we were there, my parents insisted on calling the city Melb'n, like the locals do, and it made me crazy. I think they were actually following my brother's lead, but regardless. It's not as though they were saying everything in an Australian accent--just that one word. Which I guess is a blessing.
YESSS!! Congrats! I am so very very happy for you! :D :D :D
