I love working out. Like really really love it. I crave it even. While I was pregnant, I was suffering with headaches, nausea and fat assedness, so I stopped working out. Well I did yoga, but that's it. So now that I'm not pregnant, I'm trying to get back in the swing of it.
And it feels impossible.
Logan has good nights and bad nights with the sleeping, but even on good nights, he's up about every 3 hours. This means I haven't slept for more than 3 hours at a time in over 2 months. I've started crying at night fairly regularly. Hubs is super happy about it. Anyway my point is that I'm a zombie most days and when L actually goes to sleep for a short time, I have about a cajilion things to do.
Also my husband owns a few businesses and is literally ALWAYS working unless he's asleep (next to me crying my eyes out.) He is out of town a lot and sometimes doesn't get home at nights until 9 or 10. So relying on him for child care while I work out is well, not reliable at all. The gym I go to has child care but it books up quickly, and frankly, I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet.
So I still haven't quite worked out my working out and the whole "you'll lose weight from breast feeding" is apparently bullshit for my body type (i.e. Large.) So it looks like I'm stuck with delirious lunges and walks if it ever gets warm again. Hopefully I'm not stuck with these large thighs and attractive gut forever.
Woman, chill out! You just had the baby! You need time to S-L-E-E-P. Don't worry about the weight, it will come off when your body is in a more balanced state! At least you LIKE going to the gym. I would rather go to the dentist.
ReplyDeleteWhat Marianne said. Plus i tried to start doing taebo before the doc cleared me to work out and my uterus almost fell out. True Story. Take it easy.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm..... muffintops.....
